One of the best Fish and Chip shops around. Its nice that it is local to Stanstead Abbotts. Nicely cooked, hot chips, non greasy, good tasty sausage, quality pie, scampi was nice. Had Haddock and Saveloy in a previous occasion - Good quality. Friendly service too. Impressive, on the two occasions that we've been. Will certainly be supporting this as a local Chippy!

Great quality product, the cod was perfectly cooked and delicious in its light and crispy batter.The chips were nicely fried but not greasy. If you dislike cold food, fear not, mine arrived piping hot. Highly rated and recommended take-away shop, must be revisited.Thank you.

I can't understand the negative reviews. The chips are delicious! Fresh oil used, The chips are hot , fresh and well wrapped. Lovely smiley and friendly people serving. I give a 10 out of 10 for the lovely chips served here.

Always freshly prepared food, which is very good quality and quite reasonably priced. There are lots of options if you don't fancy fish and chips, although these sometimes involve having to wait while they are cooked for you. The place is often busy, but this is just a sign of how good it is. If you like something and chips, I definitely recommend Seaways.

Even though I live in Chelmsford, I have recently started to spend more time in St Margarets and have tried a few dishes, particularly the fish and the food has always been spot on. The several fish and chips shops in Chelmsford don't even come close to the food Seaways do. Best wishes Adrian

My husband says Seaways fish is the best fried fish he has had from a fish and chip shop and he is ** years old so knows what he is talking about. So fresh and flaky yummy!
